Project One: Print on Demand
JANUARY – FEBRUARY 2026

MORE INFO COMING SOON!
Welcome to the ExitLab — where I’m testing online business ideas in real time to see what actually works.
Here, I explore different online income paths through small, honest experiments, including:
Digital products
Print-on-demand
Affiliate-driven niche experiments
Creative online projects
Simple AI-powered tools
Hamster Wheel Exit is just getting started — and the ExitLab will grow experiment by experiment.
If you’re new here, the Home Page is a good place to start.
the exitlab
Okay, some explanation is probably in order.
The ExitLab is where I take online business ideas, tools, and methods and put them to the test — one small, focused experiment at a time. It’s part business exploration, part creative lab, and occasionally part “I can’t believe this actually worked.”
Each project is a two-month exploration of a business model, a niche, a product, a digital idea, or even a simple AI-powered tool. The goal isn’t to build a perfect business — it’s to make progress, gain clarity, and understand what actually works in the real world.
During every project, I document the full journey:
what I try
what I learn
what works
and what doesn’t quite go according to plan
Everything is shared openly so you can follow along, borrow ideas, skip my mistakes, and shape your own version of online freedom — without needing to pretend everything is smooth from day one.
If you want the thinking behind these experiments, you’ll find the 12 guiding mottos of the ExitLab right here →

Each experiment follows a simple rhythm:
two months of focused work, followed by one quieter month of reflection and evergreen content.
Every other Thursday, I share an update on how things are going — the progress, the obstacles, the unexpected twists, and the small wins that make everything feel possible again.
These updates form a short, honest mini-series you can follow from start to finish. It’s not polished or dramatic — just the real process of trying, adjusting, and sometimes wondering why I thought this was a good idea in the first place.
After two busy months, things slow down.
This is where I create more timeless content:
app reviews
tool breakdowns
practical guides
reflections you can apply to your own journey
It’s the month where everything settles so the next experiment can begin with more clarity — and fewer coffee-driven decisions.
Over time, I occasionally return to these projects with short updates when there’s something new to share.
Some ideas fade, some grow quietly in the background, and a few turn into something unexpected. It’s all part of the long story.

Inspired by Dan at Vagabond Awake – with two of my own additions at the end.
These are the rules I will use to guide every project inside the ExitLab.
They keep things simple, flexible, and fun – just the way I want to live and work.
No boxes. No warehouse. No returns. No thank you.

The customer buys. They download. Done.
Only organic content on social media.
Real offers. Real honesty.
Keep it simple. Just you, your laptop and your ideas.
No rent. No gear you don't need.
No meetings that could have been an email — or a Zoom call.
Work when you want. Just reply to people within 24 hours — which is pretty easy to do.
Start with zero. Build from there.
And if it works, you might just make money in your pajamas.
Run it from your home. A café. Or a hammock in Costa Rica. Wherever you want.
Don’t fake it. Build something around what you enjoy — or dive into something you’ve always wanted to learn.
No must-have $997 blueprint.
Most of it is free anyway. I’ll show you.

Build once. Sell a hundred times.
This isn’t about working yourself into the ground for status. It’s about being smart, staying stress-free and sane, and enjoying the ride, of course.
Because I want to show that you don’t have to be an expert to begin.
I learn by doing — one small experiment at a time — and if I can figure this out, I promise you can too.
In the newsletter, I share the honest lessons that make the digital world feel a lot less overwhelming.
Hope to see you there.
